I stayed up until 3:45am to watch this, only to see the Sox lose... Ah, well. That's how the game goes.

Normally, I have to wake up at 4:30am on Saturdays for work, it just so happens that this week my schedule got switched around a bit. Definitely wouldn't have been able to do anything on 45 mins sleep.

Sorry, but I have to agree with Kang and Kodos - baseball is the most boring game in the universe.

Golf, sailboat racing, and cricket would be in a three-way tie for second most-boring sport in my universe. Cricket may actually be tied for first with baseball.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Nobody's mentioned curling. So serene...yet frenzied.

Curling I can watch. Although I don't do that very often. Sailboat races are fine too. Baseball though.. I can't find a single good point about it. And golf.. well, Tommy said "Golf is the most boring game in the universe" and it's hard to disagree, except that I think it's worse than that - there's something rock bottom about it. When you've fallen as far as you can, you start playing golf. And also: Q: When do you know that a comic strip is going downhill? A: When the golf jokes starts. Because that's when the original author stops writing the strips, he goes golfing instead and then feed his (boring boring boring) ideas to the hired team which produce the strips.

Cricket is something I've almost never seen, so I don't have a strong opinion about it - but it would possibly fall into the baseball category although I'll leave the door open until I actually get to see it again.
