That looks like no Dixon I've ever seen. The tuning slide makes me think of a higher-end whistle, with the whistle either being delrin or wood.

I can definitely see the similarities, but the whistle in the video doesn't appear to have the typical lowered area on the mouthpiece near the blade that Dixon whistles have.Brus wrote:I thought it looked a bit like this one:

I've owned a couple of Dixon DX005's.

I think so too, DrPhill.
I went back and checked my bleazey review from 2006...not only does the whistle have the right look, it has a certain characteristic to the tone that sounds similar to my recording back then too.
