Moody Blues on Uilleann Pipes

Post by reedmasters »

I love all the Irish tunes that sound so great on the pipes. Anyone ever try anything done by the Moody Blues?

No moody blues per se, but this turns blue and is a bit moody and Im sure it could be played on the pipes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gORJxj28Fkk
As for summertime I like this collaboration

Jack Brennan plays a lovely jazz ballad "Autumn Leaves" on his album Piper's Dream

Kinda moody/bluesey. Although again, not by The Moody Blues.
