Chris McMullan's boots

Post by rorybbellows »

I love Chris's boots ,you get a clear look at them at 12.00. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0umOtiKyUc
Anyone know what brand of boots they are. I've also noticed that Joey Abarta wears ankle boots , is it a thing for good pipers?

I don't believe there's evidence for that.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Can't see what he's wearing, but I'd say his shoes are too tight:

Square toed harness cowboy boots, I have to agree.
I heard somewhere that Geoff can f*rt a perfect on pitch B , so I think he's actually tuning his drones.

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

I don't dare insert myself in the celebrated pipers you mention in this thread, but yes: boots. And pull on boots at that: bad things happen to pipers while lacing up their footware :( .

Tell us something.: a sentence or 2. Having a field that requires 100 characters get displayed next to each and every post I make sure is annoying.
