FS - 2 (yes 2) Michael Grinter 8-key R&R Flutes For Sale

Post by mloberlin »

I have 2 Michael Grinter 8-key R&R model flutes for sale. Both are, I think African blackwood with silver keys, rings, and head lining. Both are in excellent/virtually unplayed condition. Both have a hairline (barely visible) crack in the back of the head. They don't leak but should be looked after if the flute is going to played regularly. Both are otherwise in perfect condition. Both have custom hardwood cases from Grinter. Both have a C-foot AND a D-foot.

One is the standard model, priced at $5,500 plus post

The other is the ultra fancy model with acanthus leaf keys and specially decorated rings and end cap, prices at $6,500 plus post

Flutes are sold with no return. I am a professional player/dealer/collector and acquired these to play Irish music which I seldom do, being a "Classical" player so I am making them available. I don't know how to post photos here but will be happy to send photos upon request. I accept PayPal or credit card. My email is michael.lynn@originalflutes.com and you may also find my website of interest. http://www.originalflutes.com

Michael, that's such a cool website you have!

Anyone who loves pics of old flutes should visit it.

Michael, you can use postimage.org for posting images...

Sorry, but I wouldn't spend 5 or 6k on a 'no return' basis. What are you evading? You want someone to commit 6k, sight unseen, with no comeback?
