Hello all,
I need to replace the belt on my bellows. Where in the US do people source their belts? Thanks!

- Tell us something.: A whistler and a beginner Uilleann piper from Scandinavia. Maybe some day a piper during this life time.

Sorry to barge in the discussion-to-come without providing an actual aswer to your question, but can't you just buy any decent leather belt, pop holes on it in appropriate places and attach it to the bellows?
That's what I would go for at least.
Best,
Hooleh

Re: Bellows Leather Belt Source
To get new uilleann pipes bellow bellow -
1) Go to your uilleann piper maker or uilleann bellows maker for replacement belts.
2) Leather craft shop
I got my replacements belts for my Rogge bellows from leather craft on ebay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_odkw ... s&_sacat=0
You can pick any width, length, colour of leather and buckle.
Cheers

Re: Bellows Leather Belt Source
On my Andreas Rogge bellows.
The arm belt has 2 brass eyelets attached to belt then the arm belt is attached with 2 screws under the leather padding.
The waist belt just slides under 2 leather pieces that is screwed to bellows under the leather padding.
My Lawrence Thomson bellows belts just slide under and no attaching screws to belt needed.
Tools I use for belts on Andreas Rooge bellows belts
1) punch pliers to make extra hole.
2) eyelet tools and hammer
Cheers
