Tell us something.: I've been playing Irish flute and whistles since January 2016. It's been a great departure from percussion, which has been my primary form of musicianship since I was a boy.

Why all the sighing? Does this flute come up on ebay all the time?

(I'm new here)

In answer to your question: No, not really.
The seller is, I believe the Olwell family. The question is, is this a new birthday flute or is Pat facilitating the sale of THE birthday flute? Enquiring minds want to know.

It is a new 2017 birthday flute according to the description "Up for auction is a newly made flute started in January and finished last week ..."

The waiting list for a keyed Olwell flute is long, I believe. But occasionally, for their birthday, they put one newly made flute on eBay...

I was sighing because it's both beautiful and (for me) unobtainable.

I was just drooling. You're obviously more couth...

Best wishes.

Is it better to be couth-less than un-ruth? :poke:

Will be interesting to see where the bidding ends with 70+ "watching" :really:
