Hi All,
I recently started using EasyABC to digitalise some tunes (and modify them where needed/wanted)
The question is:
How can I make notes visible on the PDF printouts?
I tried the N: and H: fields, but they will not show on the PDF.
The only fields then give me text are P: and W: for the lyrics.
it should somehow be possible to make the N: or H: fields for the notes and tune history visible, shouldn't it?
Or am I mistaken?
Anyone got experience with this?

H: and N: are indexing fields in the header and won't appear on the PDF. If you want text to appear on the PDF you can either use
the W: and w: fields,
the % begintext syntax,
Or the %%writefields syntax.
It all depends on exactly what you're trying to achieve and how deep into the abc syntax you're prepared to dive; have a look at the various options in the abc standard at
http://abcnotation.com/wiki/abc:standard:v2.1
And do some experimenting!

Thank you.
%%writefields HN at the beginning of the file did the trick
