The Music of Dingle

Post by WizzPost »

Hello—

New poster here. I'm trying to find a source for a CD entitled "The Music of Dingle". Apparently a limited production including Aoife Granville, Séamus Begley and a host of others.

Thanks for any assistance.

Great. I'd been looking for that also.

Best wishes.

Thank you Mr. Gumby. Here's hoping the international shipping doesn't make it uneconomical.

Posting a CD from Ireland would be a few euro, nothing to worry about.

The handwritten thank-you-note from Custy's pays for the shipping. :) Hope they still do that - It's a nice touch that is rare in this modern world.

As for "economical" - if you're comparing this to the US cost of 10-15 dollars for your average CD, 18 pounds is quite high. Shipping is negligible compared to the cost of the CD. But really, this is a hobby for most of us, and we spend what we can when we can. Hobbies aren't supposed to be cheap. If you listen to it a dozen times and learn a few tunes from it, it's totally worth the cost, IMO.

BTW, if VAT is included in their prices, they should knock a few quid off when shipping to the US. I can't remember how that worked when I last ordered. Worth asking them.

It's been a while though, 15 years, since Custy's last took payment in Punt. Image

Ordered. Landed up costing 16.13 Euros. VAT taken off list price, cost for shipping 1.50 Euros. Total about $17.50 US.

Thanks Gumby.

Best wishes.
