Session website
Does anyone know why the Session website is down?
I haven't been able to load it for about a week now. Is it a problem at my end, or is the site or server down?

Re: Session website
I've had trouble just since Wednesday. Getting special characters on-screen, and clearing cache and cookies isn't straightening it out. "=rFr". Just tested with another browser (Chrome) and the site is fine. Looks like my Firefox had a problem, and I can't yet clear the problem. I'll report back if I can reset it.
OK, fixed. Did a right-click View Page Info, cleared page storage, login, & cookies from there. Reloaded the page fine, and logged back in.

All working fine for me. Last week it lost its mustard background but that came back after I cleared the cache and re-loaded.

"Safari can't open the page because the server is not responding."
Chrome times out. "Google Chrome could not load the webpage because http://www.thesession.org took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection." No problems with my connection, as everything else is fine and fast, even streaming video.
I'm downloading Firefox right now.

Re: Session website
I use Chrome. Just checked, and TheSesh opened up and ticked along nicely for me with no snags whatsoever. Was there just a few days ago as well, and no problems then either. So I'd say Chrome's doing the job just fine. There might be other issues at play here for those of you having problems.

Re: Session website
The http link should work as well, the server listens to port 80 too and sends a re-direct to the https url. I just tested it and the http address does not hang.Tunborough wrote:Use https://thesession.org.
