Post by maki »

The Mandolin Store is giving away 4 mandolins this month.
Some very nice instruments.

Their website is buggy and the sign up page somewhat questionable. Of course I didn't check this till I had already given my info. Can anyone vouch for this site and the link that Maki has supplied?

All worked for me. Wayback Machine has pages back to 2005, and seems a legitimate site.

Thanks for the heads up! I'd love to be able to have a mandolin again!

The link in the OP is the same as the one on the mandolin store page. It's probably legit, as the mandolin store has been around for a while. Thanks for posting the link.
Life is good.

As a mandolin and flute player, I can enthusiastically vouch for Dennis Vance and the folks at The Mandolin Store. I have bought several mandolins from them over the last few years, and have had nothing but great service. They have done Thanksgiving specials for years, so it's no surprise they have expanded things a bit. They sell a lot of mandolins, and usually have a good selection of used instruments, as well. Good folks.
