Re: Snoring
There is absolutely a correlation between playing didgeridoo and reducing sleep apnea severity. Google it you want; as a sleep technologist I'd discuss it but doing so would break the rules about medical posts.

- Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

If it was just stating science, without any element of advice, i.e. if it was just descriptive, then it wouldn't be breaking the prohibition against medical advice.Thomaston wrote:There is absolutely a correlation between playing didgeridoo and reducing sleep apnea severity. Re: Snoring
Playing a didge in your sleep can certainly prevent snoring, not to mention making for some very lonely nights. Though if you usually snore loud enough anyway, your partner might not notice the difference.

Re: Snoring
I bet it has something to do with the circular breathing.
Re: Snoring
I used to have asthma as a kid. It went away about the time I got serious about flute playing. Maybe a coincidence... who knows?

I'm thinking more like MTGuru, the didge has to as loud and annoying in bed as the snoring.

I didn't notice the comma after "prisons". That makes way more sense now.MTGuru wrote:Playing a didge in your sleep can certainly prevent snoring, not to mention making for some very lonely nights. Though if you usually snore loud enough anyway, your partner might not notice the difference.

What is it about the eyes of so many of these guys? They just seem so ... dead.
And I don't think it's just that your friendly local mugshot studio is not exactly Olin Mills.

Somebody really needs to start marketing the mug shot-glass.

Re: Snoring
Why is no-one interested in the "eating one's mother and unhatched siblings"? I mean, come on! Don't be shy!

Well, compared to your avatar...yeah.MTGuru wrote:What is it about the eyes of so many of these guys? They just seem so ... dead.
I would be more impressed with Mr. Richard Lee McNair if he had escaped once and stayed escaped!
Finally, is it coincidence that "eats siblings," "prevents snoring" and "three different prisons" appears on the same page? I think not. I know for a fact that eating your siblings will keep them from snoring. Do not ask how I know this.

What would a wild walrus whistle if a walrus could whistle wild?
The second mouse may get the cheese but the presentation leaves a lot to be desired.

Re: Snoring
Well, eating your siblings, while curing the snoring problem, will certainly give you no end of opportunities to try and escape from various prisons.

Re: Snoring
Didgerdoo made my nose itch all that vibrating. Drove me nuts. Snoring doesn't bother me. Only my wife. So I am good.

With modern printing options (see the T-Shirt Thread in the Pub), this could be the time for this idea.Ron55 wrote:Somebody really needs to start marketing the mug shot-glass.
