NC, GA, TN Sessions?

Post by GreySatyr »

Okay so I live right in the corner of NC where NC, GA and TN all meet. Well I'm curious if anyone knows of any sessions around this area? The area I refer to is Murphy, Duck Town and Blue Ridge. If there aren't any good sessions within the area but there are musicians then let me know because I will most likely be able to procure an area for this cause.

Just PM me, I am new to sessions and would love to hear some folks pick and just have a grea time so just let me know I'd you're interested in starting a session or if you know of one that I could come and attend! :)

Did you know that Susato whistles are made in Brasstown, about 5 miles from Murphy? I'd give the Kelisheks a call, they are bound to know the Irish happenings in town. And I understand that it's a pretty fun factory tour.

Also in Brasstown is the John C. Campbell Folk School where folk crafts, music, and dance are taught. Bound to be some session-like happenings there. Or at least a dance where you can hear some good stuff and make contacts.
