Re: Mandolin For Dummies
I pre-ordered* a copy as soon as I heard about it. I figure I should be able to learn at least $15 worth of stuff from it, easy.
*didn't George Carlin have a bit about pre-ordering? I didn't actually order this before I ordered it... oh, it was airlines' announcing that they were pre-boarding passengers.

I'm tempted too, although I would have to add the cost of a mandolin to those $15.. there are just too many interesting instruments out there, and it's a constant struggle to avoid keeping buying them!brewerpaul wrote:I pre-ordered* a copy as soon as I heard about it. Re: Mandolin For Dummies
Tor-- you won't regret trying the mandolin. It's just about the most fun instrument I know of. Head over to Mandolincafe.com and check out the forums for some ideas on fairly inexpensive but quite respectable instruments.
