I'm just a newbie whistler and your album is wonderful. I'm especially pleased that 'The Winding Clock' is a whistle album. Its encouraging that new whistle albums are being made and I think there is a good market for them. And I liked the way you showed the particular whistles on YT.

Well now Enda, I'd have to say that that is beautiful playing! Great original stuff...I plan on learning them...and for all the whistlers, that is the beauty of a Sindt whistle, of which I often harp about.

Enda, when is the next whistle album coming out? Just a "newbie" question is all

I was just looking this via iTunes. The album is on there twice. At first I thought it was as simple as 1st printing vs 2nd printing, but then I compared the tracks. The more recent album sounds like it's been mixed slighly differently and the backing sounds more prominent.
Am I just hearing things that aren't there, or is there an actual story to this?

Very easy to listen to, and I like the pace of it-not in any hurry to get to the end of the tune! Basic accompaniement is nice too, especially on a whistle album-you can just hear the whistle better and also appreciate the subtle backing instruments better too.

While I was listening on CD Baby, I found Enda's other album, Síocháin Na Tuaithe: Peace of the Countryside. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/endaseery2

It's a little more of a mix-some flute and a couple of songs, but still mainly whistle-if you want more of Enda's whistle playing, it's there!

Does anyone know the guitar player on this album, specifically on the third track? 3. Peggy in the Settle / Day Trip to Galway (feat. John Byrne) Very nice guitar work, and I'd like to hear more!

Thank you all for your kind comments on my music. I appreciate it very much. To answer your questions, I'm not aware and I'm not sure why there are two uploads of The Winding Clock on Itunes! Be assured that was one mix of the album and no new one made.

Yes my new album "Síocháin na Tuaithe:Peace of the Countryside" has just been released. I am now a professional musician, composer, singer and teacher so music is my life!

John Byrne is a very talented guitar and banjo player from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. We play a lot together. We recently featured on the well-known Geantraí programme on TG4. Myself and John worked hard on the arrangements for the new album especially John playing some of the melodies as well as chords on some tracks.

My philosophy on music is that when played too fast, one is not really getting into the heart of the tune/melody and as a composer myself, I like to concentrate on the melody and being creative too.
