Hey there,

Thanks for the interest. These two sets were from my senior music recital from the en of my undergraduate degree.

The first set was a slow reel followed a few more uptempo reels:
O'er Bogie
The Margaree Reel
Ciaran Tourish (Jerry Holand?)
Elizabeth's Big Coat (Cota Mor Ealasaid)
The White Houses of Sheildaig

Most of these tunes I learned from recording and players from Nova Scotia, except for the last one which I picked up from Fin Moore.

The second set was a march, 2 strathspeys, and 2 reels:
Malcolm Deleski
Aspen Bank
The Editor's Favourite
The Scotsville Reel
The Glen Where the Deer Is

As with the first set, most of these tubes are from Cape Breton.

If you have any questions about sources for these tunes, let me know.

Cheers,
Ben

Thanks Ben, great playing throughout. Been playing Oer Bogie for months. Cracking flute tune. Now I realize I might have heard it from Back of the moon as well. One of those tunes I had after a few minutes as if I'd always known it and then can't stop playing it. Organic tunes I might call them.
