Yes, that's it exactly. L1 and L2 tend to get into a position that invites tendinitis, and a physical therapist advised me to find a way to keep them spread apart more. I'm using one of those school-kid rubber pencil grips (the pencil goes through a
hole in the middle) that in fact goes nicely and comfortably tween the fingers. I've been through a good deal of
trouble (old body) but I'm actually learning how to manage these infirmities and keep playing.

Thanks for your kind words about my video, Jim

P.S. You may notice a blue rubber band around the flute bottom, to provide a good grip for the rt pinky.

Man, great stuff. Don't you have any album or demo available?
What flute were you playing at that time? One of yours already?

Edit: no, you had not started making flutes yet.

You are right we hadn't drilled a hole in a billet of exotic wood at this time, it is a Wilkes - my inspiration to make flutes - just goes to show that makers do respect one another even if they are not given to express it easily..

Well, the most talented, anyhow.

Here's another tune on the Bb bamboo flute.

Hello everybody,
I'm an asturian pipes and flute player. I known that forum for a couple of years and this week I have registered on it. I hope learn so much here.
A couple of videos as an introduction.
