Just thought I'd show what I use to store/transport whistles.
I'm curious to see what others use. This is a drumstick bag I bought off fleaBay.
My favorite part is the Woodland Camo that makes me look like a whistle commando.
Outer compartment stores some whistle bodies and odds & ends.
Inside contains the full whistles with heads.
As for individual storage, thanks to a thread here at C&F, I was able to track down some of the square plastic tubes that Dixon uses.
I read a couple of complaints that the inner half of the tube would etch a line into a whistle over time.
So I headed off any future damage by affixing some sticky back foam around the lip of the inner half.
Let's see those whistle bags!

That's a nice bag Guyon!
For local-ish travel I use several of these bags made by Kate Lozier of TuffBaggs. This one is for my aluminum Burkes from Low E to High E. There's another for the brass whistles, another for the lower whistles and one for the various other high D's I use.
Here's my favorite drum stick bag, made by Ritter. I use it to transport my homemade whistles. It holds a lot of whistles and can accommodate whistles to low F un-assembled.
When the travel could be more harmful to the instruments I use various plastic hard cases from Plano and Dosckocil.

I've proven who I am so many times, the magnetic strips worn thin.

My high D fits inside my low D, and my low D fits inside my bass A. Problem solved!

One does not equal two. Not even for very large values of one.

at the moment I have a small towel, several tea-towels and a couple of ties. Not great.
(Feadoggie, those are really attractive whistles, btw.)

Re: A Whistle Bag Thread
I just knit what my band mates call whistle condoms and then use two pony tail holders bottom and top to secure them together like grocery store asparagus. I also like that my whistle can hang from my pirate costume belt so i always have one handy at a faire. There is a knitting loom made by provo crafts that is the perfect size and i can crank one out. in about twenty minutes.
