I'm not sure that you should have broached that topic.

Jeez, all I wanted to see was my new quote :D ...
Made it up myself I did...out of my very own brain !! ....
I was thinking the other day that one cant go anywhere without background/foreground music being on...Shops,pubs,shopping centres, malls, toilets, footy games.....even when I was at the dentist, some screeching pop-star was infiltrating my head...Whats wrong with silence I ask ?
I reckon kids these days will grow up not knowing what quiet is .. :( ..
My new quote is in response to the above...now .......ssshhhhhhh

Amen, weedie, amen. If you can't appreciate silence, you can't appreciate sound. It's nothing new. But with the soundtracks of so many people's everyday lives saturated with artificial noise, it's no wonder that concerts, film and TV soundtracks, adverts etc. need to blast them with mind-splitting decibellage and -0 dB saturation just to get their attention. Sheesh.

Mice Talcrighty, would you keep it down, everyone? Use you indoor voices. And recalibrate those while you're at it, too. It's like living inside of a damned gong.

Pardon my iggerunce, Denny, but yer man looks familiar. Zat Miles?
