Irish Music in Ireland

Hello,

I play whistle in a local kitchen band and am thinking it would be fun and educational to study in Ireland.
Does anyone know about the University of Cork Traditional Music Program? Has anyone done that?
Any other places that folks have studied? Or would like to study.
