FYI, the KC Irish Festival will be held in KC, MO at Crown Center August 30 through September 1.
If you're in town for it, drop by the Atrium stage to hear a few local bands (inside Crown Center itself..with AC to beat back what will likely be a hot, humid weekend in KC).

The sessions after the fest closes each evening, usually held in what was the Hyatt (now the Sheraton I think), are great fun, so bring your instrument of choice and join in.
