4:30pm - 5:45pm:
*Kids Fiddle Workshop with Oisín MacDiarmada
(Some experience playing tunes and learning by ear required)

*Singing Workshop with Séamus Begley
Learn to sing traditional Irish songs with one of today's best Irish singers. No
experience necessary.

6:00pm - 7:15pm:
*Adult Mixed Instruments Tune Class with Oisín MacDiarmada
Oisín MacDiarmada will lead a master class for all instrument types. This
workshop is open to all melody instrument students who have experience with
playing tunes and learning by ear.

Irish fiddle player Oisín Mac Diarmada, who hails from Co. Sligo, is a founding member of the well-known group, Téada, and is considered one of Ireland's formost traditional music teachers. Accordion player and singer Séamus Begley is from the West-Kerry Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) of Dingle, in Co. Kerry. Seamus is as famous for belting out jigs, slides and polkas on his accordion as he is for singing the most lovely of songs in both English and in Irish. He has toured all over the world with Altan, Steve Cooney and Mary Black to name but a few.

Joining Begley and Mac Diarmada are two of the best Sean-nos (old style) dancers, Irene and Brian Cunningham from Connemara, Co. Galway
