I'll be there Friday night. There's a flute workshop early on (5 or 6 I think) in the Irish heritage tent, and I hope to playing in a session or two after 9 pm in the hotels.

If you're there on Friday night, I'll try and wear my bright yellow dragon boat race t-shirt (red dragon with Chinese writing on it - it's bright and easy to see). Just walk up and say hello.

Hey Jayhawk,

Bummer - I will be there Sat-Sun, but not Friday. I was hoping to set in on the workshop as well, but can't make it down that night.

Have fun!

Although the flute workshop has been listed on the web site as being on Friday, it has been re-scheduled to 5pm on Sunday.

Now it's my turn to say bummer...I already bought tickets for Friday, because that was the flute workshop day, and wasn't planning to go back down there another day. Life with one car is a pain in the backside sometimes - plus, I don't see an option for "upgrading" your ticket to another night since the Friday tickets are a discount.

Not too far away

Post by turlach »

Since the workshop is open to the general public, I'll probably make it much too general for musicians to get much benefit. On the other hand, I'm not far away and we could put something together. Try the phone number or email address on the music school site.
