Alright, thought I'd add the two sessions in my area. I spent numerous hours looking for them, walking to them (I don't have a car), finding that they no longer exist, etc. I actually found them by accident--after giving up on the whole matter. Go fig.
Tommy Condon's: Downtown, on Church St., near the Market. First Tuesday of every month, 7:00-10:00.
Station 22: On Sullivan's Island. Second Wednesdays. 7:00-10:00.
Feel free to e-mail me with questions. I'm not great with directions, but I'll try. Also, we have a list of tunes we play a lot for new people who'd like to study up before they come. Both sessions pull from the same pool of people, so we all know each other, and we're quick to make friends. We are currently in dire need of anything that's not a fiddle or guitar (those we have in droves). Not a difficult session, lots of fairly new players (myself included), and we try to keep the tempo pretty slow.

Are these sessions still taking place?
