Hi gang,

Are there any regular sessions in the area around Lynchburg. I'd go as far as Roanoke or Charlottesville, too.

Thanks,

Jim

Charlottesville session

Post by In The Woods »

Hi, Moondog:

There's usually a session at the Shebeen in Charlottesville on Sundays. There won't be one this Sunday, (New Year's Day) but they should pick up next Sunday.

The Shebeen is on Vinegar Hill, on the flip side of the same building that Staples office supply is on. I'll look up the address and pm you later on it.

With best regards,

Steve Mack

Thanks,

I'll see if I can get any details on time, etc. I've got a bluegrass gig at Sweet Briar College the night before--a Habitat for Humanity benefit, and I don't know how late my outfit is going on.

Thanks again,

Jim

There's also a new one at Durty Nelly's in Charlottesville @ 7:00 pm. Quite nice.

Thanks Mark,

I'm still planning to attend ones at the Shebeen. Do any Upright players typically show up at these sessions? I'm concentrating on one of those currently, but don't want to drag the monstrous thing about if it will only step on the toes of other players.

Pretty stale thread here, but wondering if any of the Charlottesville sessions are still active?

Gonna be down there for about a week at the end of the month, and might be looking to catch some tunes.

Thanks!
