Are there any celtic happeings in the Hampton Roads area?

Hi:
Try Murphy's Irish Pub, corner of Pacific and 28th Street, (or thereabouts). Reportedly, starts at 6:00 pm on Sundays. In Virginia Beach, of course. I live in Maine, but I visit the Tidewater area regularly and may try to attend an area session sometime.
Also, if Richmond is not too far a jaunt, I think there is one downtown around Main Street and 17th Street. CHECK THEM OUT

n00be post: Thought I'd bump this one for any new information for the Tidewater or Hampton Roads area (Norfolk, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Newport News, Hampton). Primarily sessions, and also looking for scoop on whistle teachers/tutors (tooters?)

Is the Murphy's session still active? If so, when? I also heard about another one in Virginia Beach @ Conklin's - anyone have any info on this one?

Also, are there any sessions happening in Richmond these days?

Can confirm Conkin's in VA Beach. Sessions are Sunday evenings around 7:45 p.m (was there just last night!!)

Unknown re Richmond.
