This is one of the sweetest little musicians' festivals you'll find anywhere. It's all about the music, and a nice chance to sit around and play tunes with terrific musicians from all over the Southeast in a very friendly and accessible setting. Plus, Berea is a nifty crafty town so it’s a nice weekend for non-musicians, too!
Details are here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/125206010902066/Friday night there’ll be a ceili dance which has been “gas craic” in the past. On Saturday, there will be free sessions* all day from about 11 a.m to 6 or 7 p.m. , in a tent behind the Main Street Café. That evening there’ll be a concert; Saturday will also offer some workshops on concertina, pipes, etc. for a small fee.
Then more sessions for a few hours on Sunday if you can stand them, plus a Celtic church service across the square.
(*The sessions are free, but it would be courteous to purchase some food/drink from the host, which is the Main Street Café; they’re also the main sponsor of the whole weekend.)
There are some pretty good rates on hotel rooms; I did a search on Priceline and found some for as low as $49 a night; there are also rooms in Richmond, KY which is about 20 minutes up the road:
