That's a very nice promotional video.

A quick question: I imagine that much of the Festival is conducted in English, including performances and workshops by the visiting Irish musicians, dancers, and storytellers. Is the level of English competency in Finland, or at least among the people who attend the festival, high enough that language is not a problem? (And I can imagine that that is true.)

P.S. I like "northest" in your thread title, even though that's not really a word.

As there weren't any replies.. I'm not Finnish, but in my experience the younger generations there speak English very well. Not sure at which age it starts to get more problematic, but old people may not speak any English - I went to Finland now and then as a child and at that time at least it was a bit difficult. But there has been much more focus on English in Finland the last couple of decades if not more.

I suppose doing everything as Gaeilge would be out of the question ...
