Songwriter Showcase with Christy Moore

We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting submissions for our new Songwriters Showcase. For this showcase we have teamed up with Christy Moore who will be listening to all of the songs submitted. He is excited by the prospect of discovering some great new material, and has also kindly offered an award of €500 for a song and writer that really touches a nerve with regard to the theme highlighted below.

To provide a clear focus to the showcase we are asking writers to submit new songs that deal with the theme of “modern day emigration” in its many forms. With so many of our young people once again emigrating, we would like to hear a modern take on a very old problem.
