Help identifying a tune?

Post by p51baby »

Hey there,

I love the first tune from this set by Michael McGoldrick and Dezi Donnely but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I know the second one is Lunasa's Butlers of Glen Avenue, but the first is cut in the middle of their playing. Any leads will do! Thanks.

Not sure of the first one yet. Some kind of newfangled mazurka or waltz. :-)

Yes, but Lúnasa got the title wrong. It's The Roaring Barmaid: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/91

Ah, found it. Hip Agus Hop: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/3076/

The set is Track 12 from McGoldrick's "Fused" album.

Thanks for the quick response! Ah yes, roaring barmaid. I keep forgetting that Butlers is a whole other tune!
