I'm confused - it sounded like they were closing per the text on their website. I'm glad the site is wrong!

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

You're right. I've just looked at their website, and their Facebook page. I should have asked while I was there. I'm really confused myself now ...

It was announced that they were closing, then the situation took a turn for the better.

The original downstairs premises of the shop became a pub, but the shop reopened upstairs.

I suspect that it possibly had something to do with a lease ending and the landlord wanting to increase the rent, which is the sort of thing that was happening a lot in the land of the celtic tiger. However, that is pure surmise on my part.
