I've asked about this in the Postructural forum, but I figured I'd give it a shot here too. Does anyone know of any Trad or Folk music action going on around Sarasota, Bradenton, Manatee, St. Pete... or pretty much anywhere around there in Fla.? Thanks.

If you are willing to come south a bit, The Celtic Ray Pub in Punta Gorda is one of the best spots to hear traditional groups perform. The music room is newly renovated and smoke free. website http://www.celticray.com.
In February 2002, Punta Gorda is also the site of the Peace River Celtic Festival, hosted by a Port Charlotte band called "Ceol Binn" (www.ceolbinn.com). In Fort Myers, Celtic Stew plays a nice mix of tradtional and pub music (www.celticstew.com)
