Padraic Keane rarely heard recordings Facebook programs

Post by chaos97 »

I came across a Facebook posting of Padraic Keane hosting a radio-like program featuring various older recordings from a number of musicians. The program seemed to be labeled as the 4th in a public series. I've never had a FB account so I'm a bit unfamiliar with maneuvering about it & much seems to be locked behind sign ins. Could someone please provide links to the other programs in the series?

Ok, I found another link, this time to episode 7. Are the others available somewhere? I can't view much without being prompted to sign in

edit: Here's #6, This one centers on Seamus Ennis' early travels collecting music from Connemara, Donegal & Cork.

Tell us something.: I'm an accordion player, I love playing Irish music. I also run a shop called Mudchutney selling folk music themed clothing, go take a look, I think it's brilliant! I'm registering because I love all things folky and music related so want to share the love, and read more and more about this kind of stuff. Is that enough? Feels weird writing like this...kind of like trying to be a real person, which obviously I am, but you don't know that.

Here's #9, which focuses on Bobby Casey & the musicians associated with him (There seems to be audio missing during some of the selections. Padraic mentions that FB muted parts over copyright & links to a 'fixed' version in the comments, but I couldn't find an actual link to anything else)

#10 - last one (!), Martin Wynne with Vincent Harrison, kilfenora ceile band, an interview & some clips of Tommy Reck, Junior Crehan, Paddy Breen, Paddy Killoran with Willie Clancy, Packie then Micho Russell, Kevin Henry (video of playing followed by audio interview followed again by b&w video of playing with Michael & Patrick Flatley), & Martin Wynne & Vincent Harrison again
