13th Annual Sean-nós NW Trad Irish Weekend - April 3-5, 2020

Registration for the 13th Annual Sean-nós Northwest Traditional Irish Weekend is now open! This festival features two days of workshops in sean-nós singing, sean-nós dancing, Irish language, Irish culture, and most importantly Irish trad music. This year master fiddler Randal Bays will be leading the tune learning and technique workshops with help from box player John Whelan. Our trad focus is on not just playing and learning tunes, but how trad music fits into and supports Irish culture (especially playing at sessions and for dancers).
The workshops are held at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington - just an hour south of Seattle (and about 40 minutes south of SeaTac International Airport).
