"The Bothy Band" played in Aberdeen when I was a student in the early 1970s. They played this set of 3 reels - "The Curragh Races / The Humours Of Loughrea / Farewell To Ireland", which they never commercially recorded as a set. One of my favourite pieces of music ever, just posted on "Youtube". A piece of Irish traditional musical history, methinks :

If this was their first gig in GB, then it would have been Tommy playing fiddle (sure sounds like him) and not Kevin, as in the accompanying photo.
