Colin and I played some fairly obscure Irish recordings for our St. Patrick’s Day programme this week – see listing below. There’s a unique recording of a set of reels by “The Bothy Band” from a concert they played in Aberdeen at the beginning of their first ever British tour. A one-off opportunity to hear a piece of Irish musical history – here’s the link :
