I was surprised to see Slàinte Mhath and Beòlach in the lineup, since I thought both bands were distant memories. However, it looks like they're both doing special reunions, so it makes sense.

Yes, both get together from time to time, Beolach does anyway. From Slainte Mhath, Ryan MacNeil lives away now, and Boyd is in the Barra MacNeils so he is busy there. From Beolach, Wendy and Mairi have multiple things going, Patty Gillis and Mac Morin play with lots of people including Natalie MacMaster's band, and Ryan J. MacNeil plays around, including at the last two monthly youth sessions for the Feis Cape Breton youth mentorship program.... supposed to be a youth session, but some great players turn out including Ryan, Sheumas Macneil, and it's lead by Kimberley Fraser.
