Can anyone identify this tune? I'm sure there's a way to search backwards from the ABC, but cannot for the life of me remember where ...

X:1
T:Tune: traditional American?
M:4/4
L:1/4
K:Dmaj clef=treble octave=0
D/2F/2 | A3/2 B/2 A d| d3/2 B/2 A D/2F/2 | A3/2 (A/2G/2) (F/2D/2) |
E3 (D/2F/2) | A3/2 B/2 A d| d3/2 B/2 A D/2F/2 | f3/2 d e f |
d3 (d/2e/2) | f3/2 d/2 e d | (d3/2B/2)d B | A3/2 A/2 (B/2A/2) (F/2D/2) |
E3 (D/2F/2) | A3/2 B/2 A d | d3/2 B/2 A (d/2e/2) | f3/2 d/2 e f | d3 |]

I've found it referred to as traditional American, just it just sounds kinda Irish to me. (Maybe I'm nuts!)

Thoughts?

Sounds American to me. It sounds like an old-fashioned American march. Where did you find it?

... meanwhile, I'll try it on TunePal in a bit ...

Sounds like an old hymn to me: "There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood".

[Thread revival - Mod]

Just came upon this, and realised that I never came back to say thanks. I can't for the life of me remember what I wanted that for, but do remember that the answer I got was spot on for what I needed at the time.

So - thank you!

You're welcome! Well, Bill got it, not me. :)
