From one friend that lived in Czechia I heard that there was at least one irish band in Praha and a few dance schools (of riverdance type).
In all , Czech republic seems to be more country and bluegrass oriented.

I have a friend from Prague who studies in Sweden now, a fantastic fiddle player, and she said that there are quite a lot of sessions going on there, or that at least there used to be.
