The Máirtín O’Connor Trio is one of the most delightful concerts to pass thru the area with a spirited and high energy performance. From their website the quote reads "these three mean business and achieve art. Bravo." by Earle Hitchner from The Wall Street Journal and Irish Echo. And they brought it! All of it... and left it on the stage in Newtown. Wow! is all I can say. Wow!
If you haven't seen them... See Them! Tippin' the hat lads.

- Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Saw them on Aran recently - minus Seamie, who couldn't make it for personal reasons - they were totally brilliant. Some of the best music I've ever heard. Unbelievably good.

Yes, unbelievably good is perfect. Each musician got every bit of sound out of their instruments, amazing. Now I'm thinking about driving half a day to catch another performance.
See them! Here's a couple teasers. Enjoy!
