Any speculation who made that "Full Set in D" ("in the style of Ginsberg")? It has been relisted.

The auction has been pulled but the set looked a little too rough to be an established pipemaker. My guess is that someone got their hands on a set by Ginsberg and copied it as closely as they could.

David, I just noticed you are from Larkhall - I was there last fall. My wife is from Hamilton and we were back for a visit. Drove through Larkhall several times on the way to the VW agency in Wishaw.

Truth to tell, I'm not keen on Hamilton either but her mum and da still live there and we feel obligated to visit when we've come as far as Ireland anyway.
