There was another thread here about that very Stephenson B half set, which actually specified ivory: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=108548
It's possible that the "natural mounts" could have deterred potential buyers located in other countries, due to import/export regulations.
But the ebay listing specified shipping only within the UK. So it shouldn't be a problem, right?

I made enquiries and the mounts certainly are ivory.

Incidentally, last night I dreamt that I was watching a beautiful, fully-keyed antique chanter listed by a UK seller on ebay, via my smartphone. The auction was almost over and nobody had bid yet, so I was about to place my bid. But then there was some big fluctuation of power and internet connectivity that affected my phone. And by the time I was able to connect again, the auction was over and somebody had won the chanter for £145. I was quite frustrated, but I checked to see if the seller had any other chanters. I found myself in a bidding war for a non-keyed chanter, eventually getting up to almost £1000. But then I awoke.
