This seller needs a reed and a sound sample to sell. He's only 15 minutes away from Robbie Hughes. Hopefully he might read this and get it sorted.

This is the first time I have seen a
Vintage puck on eBay.
On eBay UK the postage section says that the seller will post abroad, but the listings do not seem to be appearing anywherre but eBay UK.

Maybe the sellers should try making them available to more than just the EU/UK...it's not that hard to post overseas.

Is something the matter with that particular set, for it to be relisted so often? I ask because I'm a newbie looking for my first starter set and that one is in my price range, sorta. I'm in Spain so he should be able to send it to me. Or should I forego it and wait for something else?
Thanks

Sometimes instruments just don't sell quickly. Pipes are also a weird market. There seems to be a small dedicated audience for buying pipes, but many pipers purchase new. Sometimes used sets go really cheap. It makes sense with all the possible issues with reeds and whatnot. That eBay listing description says Alan Burton reeded it in August, so you could try reaching out to him to get his honest feedback on the set. I've read that Roberts sets are good quality.

I have a Roberts B half set in boxwood, it is a nice set, it may be worth contacting the seller via eBay and making him an offer.

Sounds good then, I'll reach out to Alan to get his opinion on it and evaluate from there, then secure my funding... I'll let you know
