The set is relatively basic, if you look closer, even if the keywork may tempt you into thinking otherwise.It struck me as a bit odd that such an elaborate set has such a plain chanter.
JJ made no-fuss sets to help people get on the pipes. A friend took us to see him, some time around 1990. Spent a lovely evening with him and his daughters. He was one who made pipes in his free time, for the love of it and to help aspiring pipers, like others of that generation.
