However, it is a hallmark of the sets put out by the "Mid-East/Roosebeck" factory. This item appears to be that company's typical model, an attempt at copying an older Kirk Lynch design.
And there is no "S.A. Anderson" on the usual lists of reputable pipe makers. I think a previous owner of this item affixed their own name to it.
It also appears to be missing the chanter. But that's probably a good thing, since that tends to be the most problematic part of these sets!
