Hi,

I was in the market for a new bag and know his bags were highly recommended. He lists several shapes of bags on his website. For those pipers who play his bags, I was wondering what shape did you go with? Thanks for any help!

Steve

After writing this I like this design even more as it allows my left leg (as a right-handed player) to move the set around in order to access the regulator keys. It took about a week to get used to but once I got used to it it felt very natural. I really like the round bag design.

I got a "Woff" style bag from him and I am very happy with it. I use it with a D 3/4 set. The neck is just about the right length for me. Of course Jackie will custom make a bag for you if you already have a style you like.

My new GHB Jackie Boyce bag should be here tomorrow. Any special care I should take after tying it in? Anyone have any experience with his GHB bags?

I highly recommend Jackie Boyce's bags. Some years ago it was suggested I try his bags, regrettably I delayed but started using his bags about 2 years ago for NSP & SSP's and found them very good quality and wish I had tried them earlier. Since then I have ordered quite a few bags from him for both customers and personal use.

I am currently using his "standard" uilleann pipe bag at the moment which I am happy with, although I am also considering his "round' bag for the sake of experimentation.

I fitted one of his NSP bags to my partners pipes yesterday and she's over joyed with it, extolling its virtues of comfort and solid feel under the arm ( maybe she just likes me, but....).

Great friendly service and great product at a very reasonable price that is hard to beat. Be assured you will get a quality product at a very good price.

As already mentioned he will make a bag to your dimensions and requirements.

Can't recommend them enough really.

Iain
