Kwisthout

I have a chanter made by Hubert Kwisthout which I get out and struggle with from time to time. (I'm really of the Northumbrian persuasion)
Is this maker well thought of? Is he still around? I wonder, since I am SO much more inept on the Uillean than the Northumbrian if I should look for something else.

Hubert used to work [a long time ago] for Alan Ginzberg and his work is in the same sort of style and in I suppose the same sort of quality bracket. He is still around, some years ago he was in Lincoln and probably still is, doing something in timber from sustainable forests.
