I checked with my mother the local Colorado artist, and got the confirmation that this guy's the real deal. Apparently his previous performances have created quite a stir at RMCAD!
I'm way too shy in that way, so it won't be my thing, so to speak.
It also happens to be at the same time as my mother's final retirement art show. I can't miss that.
All the Best,
-Dirk

- Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

- Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.
Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps. - Location: Lefse country
I've seen you without one and never thought you to be underdressed. So, to answer your question, no, I suppose.tommykleen wrote:Before I decide whether or not to take this gig I have a question:
are you still considered nude if you are wearing nothing but a breathright* nasal strip?

I think this thread has run its course. Could we also stop posting the image this poor uninformed gal? Beyond annoying me, it may also be seen as a personal attack and I wish to avoid that... please.rgouette wrote:Reepicheep wrote:Here's a piper that might be available for this gig...
Sorry... couldn't resist...
Lord, I apologize...
Thanks.
