The main body of Emmett's pipes looks to be virtually horizontal in the video:- don't think I've seen one held quite as level as that before. I guess he's holding the bag low as well but I was wondering if the mainstock is tied in real low and well back. Can anyone elaborate?

He certainly either doesn't have a straight bass reg bar or he's got it under his left arm rather than sitting on his elbow.

Yes- the body is almost horizontal. There is a folded bass separator, and the neck of the bag is the same angle as the chanter top inlet pipe. Not many play like this but it seems to work well!
