My Regulators are causing me much sorrow
Some are in tune, many are not.
I have to get some regs that are more playable. Could someone recommend a maker that could help me out. I want to use the original mounts and keys.

What have you tried so far to make them play in tune? Re making them somehow seems a bit drastic.

Heard a nice one recently about a maker who 'replaced the wood on a set of Harrington regulator'.

Always great to hear restoration practices are alive and well.

But serious, are your regs really that bad they need replacement or have they never been reeded and rushed properly?

I will have one final crack at fannying about with them before I give up and cry out in anguish "Bugger!"
